  Vladimir Chaplygin and Alexey Makarenko from the Aleksandrovsky District were killed in combat in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 920 soldiers from the Stavropol Krai have been officially recognized as killed.

  At least 4,384 soldiers from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4,519 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

  The Nalchik Garrison Military Court sentenced serviceman Beslan Mestayev to five years in prison after he left his military unit stationed in Ingushetia without permission and was absent for almost a year.

• Radiation monitoring has been strengthened in Dagestan following reports of a strike on an Iranian nuclear power plant.

  Due to the situation in Iran and reports of a shell hitting the nuclear power plant, radiation levels in Dagestan are being measured three times a day. Rospotrebnadzor, the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing, is not releasing these measurements publicly.
