The deputies have disseminated the respective statement at the Assembly.

The document presents the data of the "Reporters without Borders," according to which a total of 21 journalists were killed in Russia since 2000.

The statement was signed by 34 parliamentarians from Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, Romania, Moldova, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Georgia, Albania, Serbia and Spain.

The book is a collection of articles written by well-known experts from France and Russia and people who knew the journalist, including human rights activist Elena Bonner and sociologist Andre Glyuksman. The book sums up Anna Politkovskaya's work, and attention is drawn to such problems like the situation in Caucasus and human rights.
