Kadyrov criticizes heads of regions for their reports about deaths in Ukraine

The heads of the regions should not report about the number of compatriots who perished in the special military operation in Ukraine, but they should simply provide assistance to the families of the deceased, states Ramzan Kadyrov. The leader of Chechnya calls on the regional authorities “not to comment on the losses.” Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the information about at least 80 Chechen law enforcers perished in Ukraine has been officially confirmed.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that earlier, Ramzan Kadyrov had reported on his Telegram channel about the deaths of fighters from Chechnya. So, on October 27, 2022, the leader of Chechnya wrote that 23 Chechen fighters perished in the Kherson Region and that other 58 were wounded.

Today, Ramzan Kadyrov has criticized the heads of regions who report about the death toll among compatriots during the special military operation in Ukraine. The leader of Chechnya has stated that losses in the course of hostilities are “inevitable” and that the participants in the special military operation “consciously” chose their way.

“A man left with dignity, defending his state. So, you should keep a clean memory of him,” Ramzan Kadyrov wrote.

The leader of Chechnya has pointed out that the authorities of the republic deliberately try not to report about the deaths of fighters. Ramzan Kadyrov has called on the “authorities on the ground” to “deal with the problems of the families of the dead and injured fighters and not comment on the losses.”

Since the beginning of the special military operation in Ukraine, the information about at least 80 law enforcers from Chechnya perished in Ukraine have been officially confirmed.
