After commemorating Bucha casualties, Krasnodar woman accused of discrediting army

In Krasnodar, Olga Aksyonova, an activist, was charged with discrediting the Russian Armed Forces after she lay down on the ground with her hands roped behind her back near a billboard with the inscription "Za Nashikh" (For Ours) in memory of those killed in the Ukrainian town of Bucha.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 10, an action dedicated to the situation in Bucha was also held in Volgograd. Tamara Grodnikova, a pensioner, went on a solo picket calling on the authorities to set up a civilian commission for travelling to Bucha and making public the results of checking the information about the massacre of civilians committed there.

The fact that Krasnodar policemen have detained the local resident, Olga Aksyonova, was reported on April 10 by the human rights project "OVD-Info"*.

Olga lay down on the sidewalk with her hands roped behind her back next to a billboard supporting the special operation in Ukraine with the inscription "Za Nashikh". During her action, a man came up to her and pulled her hood, after which he called the police. After the detention, Olga was taken to the Tsentralny ROVD (District Interior Division) of Krasnodar.

There, a protocol was drawn up against her under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces; then, she was set free. According to the activist, she held her action in memory of those killed in Bucha, the above human rights project has noted.

*The portal has been put by the Russian Ministry of Justice on the register of unregistered public associations performing the functions of a foreign agent.
