"For Human Rights in Chechnya" group formed in Estonian parliament

Several deputies of the Estonian parliament formed the group "For Human Rights in Chechnya" on February 17. Andres Herkel, a faction member of the opposition Pro Patria Union, became head of the group.

According to Mr Herkel, deputy groups supporting Chechnya worked in the Estonian parliament of the seventh, eighth, and ninth convocations too.
