Resolution of Karabakh conflict to be debated in PACE

A report on the situation with the resolution of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Nagorny Karabakh will be submitted and discussed during one of the next few sessions of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), head of the Azerbaijan Delegation to the PACE Samed Seidov announced on December 18.

"It is known exactly that the PACE rapporteur on the conflict, Terry Davis, is to submit the report on the problem not later than in September 2004," the parliamentarian said.

Taking into consideration the fact that the occupation of a part of the Azerbaijan territory by Armenia has been already mentioned in some documents of the Council of Europe, Mr. Seidov expressed hope that the first report by Terry Davis on the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan would be unbiased.
