Since August 1, the programme of the Tbilisi Mayoralty for providing refugees from Ukraine with housing and foodstuffs has ceased to operate; within the coming three months, they will receive cash benefits. This caused opposition's criticism, which stated that it's impossible to rent housing in the Georgian capital for this money, and called on citizens to help refugees.

The Defence Army of Nagorno-Karabakh has suppressed the attempts of Azerbaijani militaries to cross the contact line, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of the unrecognized republic has reported. The Azerbaijan MoD has refuted this statement.

The Tskhinvali City Court returned the case on the death of Inal Djabiev to the Prosecutor’s Office and demanded to eliminate the violations in it. Part of the information indicated in the case file was not confirmed in the indictment, a lawyer of the Inal Djabiev’s widow explained.

The trial in a case on the murder of four persons in the village of Shamiram has been going on for more than four years, relatives of the victims have stated at a protest action. The protestors called on the authorities of Armenia to intervene in the case and expedite the investigation. The relatives of the victims warn that if a guilty person is not convicted, blood feud is not ruled out.

Six large families of internally displaced persons (IDPs, or forced migrants) have moved into new houses built in the Askeran District of Nagorno-Karabakh; they were provided with furniture, cows and poultry. In total, over 1000 families received housing. They plan to cultivate the land and raise livestock.
