Dagestani interior ministry's official was gunned down in Makhachkala

An officer from the Dagestani interior ministry's department for fight against extremism and criminal terrorism and his wife were gunned down in Makhachkala, late on Tuesday.

According to interior ministry sources, Salikh Shamkhalov and his wife were killed when the officer drove to his house. It is believed the killers were shooting from a car.
