Four leaders of Baptist congregations were fined in Rostov-on-Don.

The leaders of four congregations of the "International Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists" were fined for illegal activities in Rostov-on-Don.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in March, the prosecutor's office of the Primorsky District of Rostov-on-Don filed a lawsuit demanding to ban the activities of the religious group "International Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists".

Last year, four religious congregations were discovered in Rostov-on-Don that were operating illegally. This was reported by the chairwoman of the committee on interethnic relations, religion, and Cossack affairs of the city administration, Yulia Akina, as Donnews.ru reported on October 10.

According to Akina, all four congregations belong to the "International Union of Evangelical Christians-Baptists". After checking the activities of these organizations, proposals were made to the court, after which the leaders were fined.
