Interruptions in the supply of water and gas in Tuapse have given rise to criticism of officials.

There has been no hot water in the house on Frunze Street in Tuapse for more than a month, despite repeated appeals from residents to the authorities, complained a local resident. Other citizens, commenting on her complaint in Telegram, spoke about interruptions in gas and heating during the winter in other areas of the city and criticized the utility services and authorities for their ineffective solutions to these problems.

The complaint of a resident of Tuapse that there has been no hot water in house No. 53a on Frunze Street for more than a month was published on September 29 by the Telegram channel "My Tuapse".

According to the author of the appeal, first, the pipes were dug up near the house, after which there was no water for a long time. Then hot water appeared for one or two days, but disappeared again, and cold water started to flow from the tap. The residents of the house sent complaints several times, including to the prosecutor's office, but according to the author of the appeal, no action was taken.

This post in the Telegram channel "My Tuapse", which has about 55,500 subscribers, had received 36 reactions and 92 comments by 08:00 Moscow time on September 30.

Commentators, positioning themselves as residents of Tuapse, spoke about interruptions in gas and heating problems in other areas of the city. "There is no gas, there is no hot water. We are waiting for the heating season," wrote Yana.

"We have had no gas in Sortirovka for a month and a half," noted user Monale/nocoex3001.

"Well, I generally have good heating. But in most of the city, there is always a problem. My mom has been cold on Kronstadt Street her whole life, even though the house is next to the boiler house. I hope that someday everyone will receive quality services (please)," wrote Yana.

Other participants in the discussion criticized the lack of effective response to utility problems. "It's a common practice... when even the prosecutor's office is inactive, sometimes public resonance helps," pointed out 14380 Svetlana.

"Just understand, writing in the chat, well, it's unlikely that the problem will be solved. It's clear that the administration doesn't care in the literal sense, and neither does the management company," believes user Ruha.

As of 08:00 Moscow time on September 30, there were no comments on the website of the Tuapse municipal district administration regarding residents' complaints about interruptions in the supply of hot water and gas, as well as the lack of heating.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that residents of Tuapse and the Tuapse district periodically face interruptions in water supply. For example, on April 28, after a fire at the oil refinery, part of Tuapse was left without water, and on August 4, 2025, residents of the flooded Tuapse district complained about the lack of water and the lack of information about the timing of the restoration of water supply.
