A resident of Anapa was fined under the article on discrediting the army

Operatives of the "E" center saw in the publication of a resident of Anapa a discrediting of the Russian armed forces, and the court fined the woman 45,000 rubles.

The court in Anapa fined a 35-year-old local resident, recognizing her publication on social media as discrediting the Armed Forces of Russia. The protocol against the woman was drawn up by employees of the "E" center, reported the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Krasnodar Territory on September 29.

According to the security forces, the Anapa resident "published information in the public domain that discredits the Armed Forces." The specific content of the post was not described, and the platform of publication was not named.

"By the court's decision, she was fined 45,000 rubles," the agency's message states. It is not specified whether the woman admitted her guilt.

In a short video published by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the woman is first taken into the police building, then to the Anapa city court.

In the open court registry, there is only one case under the article on discrediting the army, against Maria Shindyakova. The protocol was submitted to the judge on September 24, but as of 1:50 AM Moscow time today, the result of the case review is not indicated in the case file.

"Caucasian Knot" reported on other cases of residents of southern Russia being prosecuted under the article on "discrediting the army." For example, in May, a court in Tuapse fined local resident Andrey Kuzmenko for saying that Russians are "not killed enough." In August, the Krasnoarmeysky District Court fined local resident Vitaly Gusary 30,000 rubles for a comment about Putin and the course of the Russian military operation.

There is also a known case where the court terminated a case of discrediting the army, limiting itself to an oral remark: such a decision was made by the court of the Kanevsky District of Kuban in the case of local resident Alexander Maltsev, who was prosecuted for "public obscene remarks against a participant in the special military operation, as well as against the military operation itself."
