The name of the killed military personnel from Dagestan in Ukraine has been announced.

Sergey Poksevatkin from Dagognay was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, authorities have officially recognized at least 2128 military personnel from Dagestan as killed there.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by September 27, officials and law enforcement publicly named the names of at least 2127 servicemen from Dagestan killed in Ukraine.

The name of another killed military personnel from Dagestan in Ukraine was announced today by the head of Dagestanskie Ogni, Zamir Gadzhimuradov, while reporting on the transfer of a posthumous award to his family.

Sergey Poksevatkin was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage; he is survived by a wife and a seven-year-old son, according to a message in the official Telegram channel of the official.

The age and other details of the biography of the killed Poksevatkin are not provided in the message from the head of Dagognay.

Thus, at least 2128 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District killed in the military operation.
