The German authorities have expelled seven asylum seekers from Chechnya.

Seven natives of Chechnya have been deported from Germany, despite the fact that they provided German authorities with evidence of persecution in their homeland.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 19, representatives of the Chechen diaspora at a rally in Bern called on the German authorities to stop the deportation of refugees from Chechnya and to objectively consider the cases of people facing expulsion.

The German authorities deported seven natives of Chechnya who, according to human rights activist Roza Dunaeva, were forced to leave their homeland due to persecution by the authorities 1 .

According to the human rights activist, all seven had been in Germany for three to five years and had applied for asylum there. They provided German authorities with evidence of persecution by the Chechen authorities, but were denied protection.

Deportations of natives of Chechnya from Germany are also carried out through third countries, primarily through Georgia, and in some cases through Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, Dunaeva stated. In her opinion, such routes should not be used to circumvent Germany's international obligations and guarantees of safety when returning a person.

Dunaeva and her associates intend to seek a review of the cases of the deported individuals and the actions of the German migration authorities.

It should be noted that on July 31, human rights activists pointed out that hundreds of refugees from Chechnya are at risk of deportation from European countries. The decision to deport Muslim Alkhazov from Germany was appealed, while representatives of the diaspora linked the increase in asylum denials to the tightening of migration policy and insufficient consideration of the risks of returning to Chechnya.

On August 10, it became known that the German authorities denied asylum to the Abuyev family and their four children. According to the human rights activist, the head of the family spent several years in detention in Chechnya, and the family informed the German authorities about the persecution, threats, and fears regarding a possible return to Russia.
