A military man from the Astrakhan region was killed in Ukraine

Bogdan Mazurov from the Kamyzyak district was killed in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 763 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", as of September 12, the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 762 military personnel from the Astrakhan region as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

A ceremony to unveil a memorial plaque for Bogdan Mazurov, who was killed in the military operation in Ukraine, took place in the "Memory Park" of the village of Samosdelka in the Kamyzyak district, the district administration reported on its page on "VKontakte".

Bogdan Mazurov was killed in Artemovsk and was posthumously awarded the medal "For Courage". No other details about the biography and death of the military were provided in the authorities' message.

Thus, at least 763 fighters from the Astrakhan region have been officially recognized as killed. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses in southern Russia are increasing".

Earlier, the administration of the Kamyzyak district reported that Khayrat Zhangaliyev was killed in the military operation.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, according to the material from "Caucasian Knot" "Three Comrades Served: How Authorities Deprive Families of Killed Volunteers of Benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters.
