Activists called for planning the preparation of Anapa's beaches for the new season.

Before winter, the beaches of Anapa, after being filled with sand containing a lot of clay, should be plowed, or better yet, the sand should be completely replaced with more suitable material for the coast, activists believe.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the beaches of Anapa, after being replenished with new sand, turned into a mixture of stones and clay, and officials' reports do not correspond to reality, Telegram users pointed out. According to commentators, significant costs were incurred to fill the beaches of Anapa after the oil spill, but the first storms washed away the sand, and what remained on the shore became compacted. The work on pumping out oil from the fragments of the tankers "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239", which sank as a result of the crash in the Kerch Strait in December 2024, has been completed. The Rospotrebnadzor has already issued permits for 111 beaches in Anapa.

After replenishing 12 km of sandy beaches in Anapa with construction sand mixed with clay, plowing is necessary — just like what is done in fields, the project "Anapa Civil" writes today.

Plowing should be completed before stable frosts set in, traditionally aiming for mid or late November, activists indicated in their Telegram channel, urging to "plan the plowing dates".

"If we think even more globally, we need to remove part of the imported sand and instead bring in at least 50 cm of real quartz sand, not this cheap imitation!" — activists emphasized, noting that such work could be sponsored by "Rosneft", whose oil was transported on the sunken tankers.
