A resident of Anapa is accused of treason and recruiting militants.

The military court in Rostov-on-Don will hear the case of a resident of Anapa accused of recruiting people for a terrorist organization with plans to seize power.

The accused is 55 years old. The man is charged with articles on participation in a terrorist organization and assisting terrorist activities through financing and recruiting people 1 , treason, and actions for the violent seizure of power 2 . The last two articles provide for up to 20 years in prison.

According to the prosecution's version, the Anapa resident entered into correspondence with the leader of a certain terrorist organization's unit and received an assignment from him - to find people for the violent seizure of power. After that, he attempted to recruit Russians but was detained by officers of the Kuban FSB.

"In addition, the accused corresponded with an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, from whom he received informational materials on carrying out sabotage activities," the official Telegram channel of the Krasnodar Territory Prosecutor's Office reported.

The agency did not specify when and under what circumstances the man was detained, which terrorist organization is being referred to, and how it planned to carry out the seizure of power.

The name of the accused and his occupation are unknown; there is no information on the case in the open registry of the Southern District Military Court.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that a 19-year-old young man from Krymsk was accused under two terrorist articles due to graffiti on walls and comments in a messenger. At the end of July, security forces reported the detention of an 18-year-old resident of Taganrog, who, according to the FSB, "was pasting leaflets and applying graffiti against the special military operation." The security officers claim that the young man also planned to sign a military contract to get to the front, kill his comrades, and switch sides to the enemy.
