Krasnodar drivers shared ways to avoid queues at gas stations.

Motorists from Krasnodar reported that they try to buy gasoline in the evenings and on weekends, look for less crowded private gas stations, and check fuel availability in advance through apps. Drivers noted that they are willing to pay more for gasoline to avoid spending time in queues.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 30, 40 gas stations (GS) in Krasnodar suspended fuel sales, while another 66 were dispensing fuel. Economists warned at that time that the rate of gasoline price growth in Kuban by the end of the year could exceed the national average.

The Governor of Krasnodar Krai, Veniamin Kondratiev, demanded to expedite the unloading of tankers and the delivery of fuel to gas stations, as well as to lift all restrictions on gasoline sales, "Kuban Inform" reported today, citing the press service of the Krasnodar Krai administration.

The most tense situation has developed in Krasnodar, Novorossiysk, Anapa, Gelendzhik, and the Tuapse district, where motorists are forced to stand in multi-hour queues, the publication stated.

Fuel is arriving in the region in sufficient volume; however, cases of artificial shortages are being recorded: large network gas stations stop sales despite having supplies, while independent gas stations sell fuel at inflated prices, Kondratiev stated.

Amid the queues, drivers in Krasnodar shared how they reduce their time at gas stations. The tips from motorists were published by "Russian Gazette" on September 3.

The most calm times for refueling are the evening hours and weekends, said Krasnodar resident Anton. According to him, in the mornings, many drivers stop at gas stations before work, causing queues at popular stations. "Morning refuels are not working as well now: the spot is fed, and the pigeons come flying," he told the publication.

Small private networks are often less crowded than large branded stations, Anton observed. Prices there may be slightly higher, but the time saved usually compensates for the difference, he noted.

Drivers should also find out in advance which pump dispenses the required fuel grade, Anton advised. "If the tank is on the left side and the right pump is free, you can carefully position yourself so that the hose reaches. The main thing is not to disturb anyone," he said. The presence of attendants and operators also speeds up service, according to his observations.

Another Krasnodar resident, Petr, advised using mobile apps and navigators to track the load of gas stations and the availability of the required fuel grade. He recommended comparing information from several services and considering user reviews.

Do not automatically queue at the nearest gas station, but first look for a free station nearby, advised Alexander. According to him, a less popular gas station may be five to ten minutes away, and the extra travel time can significantly reduce waiting time.

Recall that on August 26, residents of Sochi reported signs of stabilization in the fuel situation compared to mid-month, but noted that it is still necessary to know in advance where and when fuel will be delivered for refueling. On August 27, the Krasnodar office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service initiated four cases of price gouging on fuel, and the owner of another gas station lowered prices after a warning from the agency.
