As a result of the drone debris falling on the territory of the oil depot in Sochi, a fire broke out.

According to the operational headquarters of the Krasnodar Territory, Sochi and the federal territory of Sirius were subjected to a massive drone attack, and their debris was discovered today in various locations.

"The glazing in several residential buildings and structures was damaged, and in some cases, fires occurred, which were promptly extinguished. A fire also broke out on the territory of the oil depot," the message published today on the Telegram channel of the operational headquarters said.

According to preliminary data, there are no casualties, the operational headquarters indicated.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that drone attacks on the Krasnodar Territory have repeatedly led to fires at industrial facilities. For instance, on August 20, after the debris of drones fell in the village of Volna in the Temryuk district, a fire occurred on the territory of the enterprise. On August 8, after the debris of a drone fell at the Ilysky Oil Refinery, a fire broke out and six people were injured.

It should be noted that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in Kuban, a fuel crisis has emerged. In the Krasnodar Territory, the fuel problem caused a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas cylinder equipment. In auto services, customer queues have stretched for several months ahead, and the cost of equipment has nearly doubled.

Analysts previously noted that the long wait forces motorists to turn to "gray" installers who do not guarantee the safety of the equipment.

At the same time, analysts believe that the mass installation of gas cylinder equipment will not help overcome the fuel crisis, as the necessary infrastructure is still lacking.
