A soldier from Dagestan was killed in Ukraine

Islam Asulbekov from Khasavyurt was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation, at least 2090 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 31, the authorities and security forces officially recognized at least 2089 fighters from Dagestan as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

The administration of Khasavyurt reported on the transfer of the Order of Courage to the family of the soldier Islam Asulbekov who was killed in the military operation via their Telegram channel.

The award was handed over to Asulbekov's relatives by the head of the city, Korgoli Korgoliev. Details of the soldier's biography and his death were not provided in the report.

At least 4798 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4852 soldiers from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the special operation in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 2090 combatants from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and security agencies, as stated in the report by "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the Special Military Operation: losses for southern Russia are increasing".

Earlier, the administration of Khasavyurt reported that in the special military operation Khanpasha Kaziev was killed.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, as stated in the material by "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how the authorities deprive the families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters. In particular, the widow of one of the killed reported that without the body, the battalion did not make payments related to the death of the serviceman.
