A fighter from Dagestan was killed in Ukraine

Khanpasha Kaziev from Khasavyurt was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 2084 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", by August 24, officials and law enforcement agencies had officially named the names of at least 2083 killed fighters from Dagestan in Ukraine.

The press service of the Khasavyurt administration reported on the transfer of the Order of Courage to the family of the soldier Khanpasha Kaziev, who was killed in the military operation, via their Telegram channel.

The award was handed over to Kaziev's relatives by the head of the city, Korgoli Korgoliev. Details of the soldier's biography and his death are not provided in the message.

The number of killed fighters from the southern regions of Russia in Ukraine has exceeded 9600

At least 4773 fighters from the regions of the North Caucasus Federal District and 4832 fighters from the regions of the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed during the special military operation in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 2084 combatants from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives from the North Caucasus Federal District and Southern Federal District who have been killed in the military operation. The list is compiled based on data officially announced by representatives of the authorities and law enforcement agencies, according to the report from "Caucasian Knot" "Statistics of the special military operation: losses for southern Russia are increasing".

Earlier, the Khasavyurt administration reported that Said Abdurashidov was killed in the special military operation.

State awards, memorial plaques, and appearances on "Channel One" do not guarantee support from the state for the families of the killed, as stated in the material from "Caucasian Knot" "Three comrades served: how authorities deprive families of killed volunteers of benefits", which describes the stories of the killed fighters. In particular, the widow of one of the killed reported that without the body, the battalion did not make payments related to the death of the serviceman.
