Ingush villagers complained about the unresolved problem with the washed-out road.

In the settlement of Troitskoye in the Sunzhensky district, part of the roadway on Shefskaya Street collapsed after the bank was washed away, and the road continues to deteriorate. Children walk to school and kindergarten along it, and appeals to officials demanding the elimination of the dangerous section have not yielded results, the villagers complained.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on April 10, residents of Sunzha demanded that bank protection works be carried out after part of the road along the Sunzha river collapsed on April 5 due to heavy rains in the village of Troitskoye .

The road on Shefskaya Street in the rural settlement of Troitskoye continues to deteriorate, and appeals from local residents to the authorities have not led to a solution to the problem, "Fortanga" reported, citing residents of Troitskoye. According to one of the villagers, representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the administration visited the site several months ago.

Another local resident pointed out that the road leads to the kindergarten and school, and a child has already fallen into the collapse area. "A boy fell in here once, luckily he was pulled out in time," his words were quoted by "Fortanga" on its Telegram channel.

The destruction of the road poses a threat to pedestrians, drivers, nearby houses, and communications, the villager added. "Further destruction could lead to a complete collapse of the road, creating an emergency situation, a risk to the lives and health of drivers and pedestrians, as well as damage to houses and communication lines located nearby," he noted.

The attached video shows a raging river and the road passing near the riverbed, the edge of which has collapsed. Soil has been piled near the collapse site, but water continues to wash away the damaged area. The road is blocked, and a car can be seen in the distance at its edge.

Commentators criticized the officials

Commentators, identifying themselves as local residents, criticized the inaction of officials and pointed out that due to the road's destruction, children have to change their usual route to school.

On May 8, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ingushetia reported that work to eliminate the consequences of the bank washout on Shefskaya Street in Troitskoye had been completed. The day before, the ministry announced the start of restoration work on the damaged section.
