Krasnodar residents reported the absence of gasoline at some gas stations.

At some gas stations in Krasnodar, gasoline is once again unavailable, residents reported on Telegram. One driver noted that he found fuel at only two out of ten gas stations.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on August 5, drivers reported ongoing queues at gas stations (GS) in Krasnodar and the absence of gasoline at some stations. Earlier, major gas station networks eased the restrictions on fuel sales in southern Russia.

The situation with gasoline in Krasnodar remains ambiguous: at some gas stations, fuel is available, while at others it is not, according to a publication posted on the evening of August 8 in the Telegram channel "Krasnodar Teletype," which has nearly 127,000 subscribers. As of 06:55 MSK on August 9, this publication received 17 reactions from users and 10 comments.

In the past week, many gas stations have closed again or are selling only diesel fuel, reported Vitaly. "We are returning to the situation from July 20. In the past week, I noticed that many gas stations are closed again or only have diesel fuel," he wrote.

A user Murkanin Vselenskiy also reported that gasoline is available only at some gas stations. "I drove past ten gas stations, only two had gasoline. That's where the queues come from," he pointed out.

"The situation is dire. Standing for an hour and a half to buy some unclear red liquid like acetone," wrote Vovan.

"People have nothing to do. That's why they are standing in queues," believes Zorro.

At the same time, Anna reported that the situation with fuel in Sochi remains stable. "In Sochi, everything is stable. I stood in line for 15 minutes, and that was only because of the season," she noted.

"We need to think: where will gasoline come from if oil refineries are being attacked by drones," wrote Oilman.

Recall that against the backdrop of drone attacks on oil refineries, including those located in Krasnodar Krai, a fuel crisis has emerged in the southern regions of Russia. The gasoline shortage has led to a sharp increase in demand for the installation of gas equipment (GBO). Queues at auto service centers have stretched for several months, and the cost of equipment has nearly doubled.

Long waiting times force motorists to turn to "gray" installers, who do not guarantee the safety of the equipment, analysts noted. At the same time, the mass transition of cars to gas will not solve the fuel problem due to the lack of necessary infrastructure.

It is impossible to quickly create such infrastructure, noted the deputy general director of the National Energy Institute Alexander Frolov. According to him, the current crisis has prompted a return to programs that are developing more slowly than planned.

The leading analyst of the National Energy Security Fund Igor Yushkov suggested that the mass transition of motorists to gas will not become a long-term trend. After the gasoline shortage and queues at gas stations disappear, demand for GBO installation will decrease, he believes.
