A fighter from the Krasnodar region was killed in Ukraine

Alexander Tsopin from the Tbilisi district was killed in combat. Since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 874 fighters from the Krasnodar region have been officially recognized as killed.

At least 4755 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 4795 military personnel from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the special operation in Ukraine.

The administration of the Tbilisi district reported on the awarding of posthumous medals - the Order of Courage and the Order of St. George - the George Cross IV class - to the family of Alexander Tsopin, who was killed in February 2025, on its Telegram channel. No details of Tsopin's biography are provided.

Thus, at least 764 combatants from the Krasnodar region have been officially recognized as killed. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a named list of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District who were killed in the military operation.
