The director of the transport company owned by Tsarukyan has been arrested.

The director of the company "Multi Avtotrans," owned by opposition politician Gagik Tsarukyan, Arthur Dallakyan, has been placed under house arrest; he is accused of tax evasion.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", on July 7, the court arrested the leader of the opposition party "Prosperous Armenia," billionaire Gagik Tsarukyan, for two months, accused of fraud and tax evasion. The defense stated that there are documents proving that Tsarukyan is a victim in this case and appealed his arrest. On July 24, law enforcement detained Arman Davtyan, the director of the "Ararat" plant owned by Tsarukyan, on charges of tax evasion. On July 25, a criminal case was initiated against Tsarukyan for tax evasion by the "Ararat" plant.

A public criminal case has been initiated against the director of the company "Multi Avtotrans," Arthur Dallakyan, on charges of large-scale tax evasion, reported "Armenpress" on July 31.

As a preventive measure, Dallakyan has been placed under house arrest, reported the press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Kima Avdalyan.

100% of the shares of the company "Multi Avtotrans" belonged to Gagik Tsarukyan's son, Nver. The company services the unified route networks of the Kotayk and Aragatsotn regions.

Tsarukyan's party "Prosperous Armenia," along with other opposition political parties, previously issued a statement regarding the illegitimacy of the authorities and plans to seek their removal.
