Residents of the high-rise building in Magas complained to Kalimatov about the gas supply problem.

Residents of house No. 47 on Chakhkiyev Street in Magas have been without gas for about a month, which prevents them from cooking hot food and using hot water. Gas workers and officials are shifting responsibility onto each other, as stated in their collective appeal to the head of Ingushetia, Mahmud-Ali Kalimatov.

According to the authors of the appeal, the house was not previously put into operation, so residents could not formalize their rights to the apartments and open personal accounts for paying utility bills.

After the house was put into operation on April 17, representatives of JSC "Gazprom Gas Distribution Nazran" offered residents to sign contracts for the maintenance of internal gas equipment. Acts of completed work were also drawn up, and residents submitted applications for gas supply for household needs. On the same day, seals were placed on the gas meters.

Residents were explained that contracts for gas supply would be concluded after the company's management signs the documents for the maintenance of the equipment.

The collective appeal states that about a month ago, the house was once again disconnected from the gas networks. After that, residents contacted the gas distribution company and the administration of Magas, but the problem could not be resolved.

According to residents, JSC "Gazprom Gas Distribution Nazran" explained the lack of gas by saying that the city administration did not provide the necessary executive and technical documentation. The administration of Magas, in turn, stated that all documents had been fully transferred to the company.

The authors of the appeal noted that the house is home to participants of the special military operation, families with young children, elderly and sick people. Due to the lack of gas, residents cannot cook hot food and use warm water. They also fear that by the onset of cold weather, they may be left without gas and heating.

"Officials are merely shifting responsibility onto each other, leaving ordinary citizens alone with their problems and needs," the appeal states.

Residents asked Kalimatov to take personal control of the situation, hold a meeting with representatives of the administration of Magas and JSC "Gazprom Gas Distribution Nazran", restore gas supply, and hold those responsible accountable.

In April 2019, as a result of a traffic accident in the village of Verkhniye Achaluki, a gas pipeline was damaged, leaving 1,372 subscribers without gas.
