The authorities of Chechnya reported on assistance to Palestinian refugees.

For Palestinian refugees in Chechnya, the authorities organized a charity event during which they distributed food, reported the state television channel "Grozny".

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", the authorities of Chechnya periodically report on the assistance provided to Palestinian refugees. On July 22, the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, announced the transfer of 20,000 rubles each from the Akhmat Kadyrov Foundation.

A charity event for refugees from Palestine was held in Grozny, organized by the authorities of the republic. Food from the Argun Meat Processing Plant, flour from the "Kolos" plant, as well as bread and drinks from local producers were provided to the refugee families. A festive pilaf was prepared for the residents of the village. The event was timed to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Akhmat Kadyrov, as reported last night on the Instagram page of the Chechen State Television and Radio Company "Grozny".

It is worth noting that earlier the authorities of Chechnya reported the arrival of 209 refugees from Palestine, and after several months, keys to apartments were handed over to the families. The head of the republic's Ministry of National Policy, Akhmed Dudayev, stated at a meeting with the refugees that they should maintain cleanliness and be more organized, and they should not rush the authorities of the republic with the resolution of their problems. Dudayev's reproaches towards the guests contradict Chechen hospitality traditions, noted Caucasian studies experts and human rights defenders.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that earlier in Chechnya, the activities of charitable organizations collecting aid for Palestine were suspended; the authorities explained this decision by the lack of transparency and concerns that the money might not be used for its intended purpose. At the same time, the authorities reminded that the Kadyrov Foundation provides assistance to Palestine.

Later, the provision of assistance to Palestinian refugees was resumed.
