Ibrahim Tochiev complained to Putin and Bastrykin about law enforcement officers.

A resident of Ingushetia, Ibrahim Tochiev, who sued the authorities over his house, recorded a video message to the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, complaining that law enforcement officers conducted a search in his house and beat him and his brother.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", in January of this year, Ibrahim Tochiev filed a complaint with the leadership of the Investigative Committee, stating that officials and law enforcement officers were pressuring his family, trying to evict them from their home in the village of Verkhniye Achaluki. According to Tochiev, the village administration illegally annulled the documents regarding the head of the family's ownership rights to the land and house.

The video recording in which Ibrahim Tochiev addressed the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, and the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, with a complaint about law enforcement officers, was published today in the Telegram channel "Fortanga".

According to Tochiev, at the end of June, officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and OMON broke into his house and used force against him and his brother Tamerlan. The law enforcement officers did not explain the reason for the intrusion.

"They tied my and my brother's hands behind our backs and took us outside, facing the wall. After a while, [one of the investigators] came into the yard with witnesses in military uniforms that he brought with him. Then they began to unjustifiably beat me: two officers held me, while several others struck me from behind," Tochiev recounted.

Furthermore, according to Tochiev, he and his brother were taken to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Malgobek district, where law enforcement officers began to threaten and exert pressure. Later, Tochiev was released, while his brother was detained on a theft case.

Tochiev also noted that law enforcement officers seized a flash drive from the surveillance system, the cameras of which are installed in the yard of his house. "Doctors recorded a concussion and bruises on me. The persecution of our family began after the prosecutor's office and the administration lost a court case regarding the reclamation of our land plot and residential house," he explained.

According to "Fortanga", law enforcement officers stated in their report about the incident that they conducted a search as part of a theft case and that the brothers allegedly resisted them.

As of 1:00 PM Moscow time, there are no comments regarding Ibrahim Tochiev's video message on the websites of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ingushetia, the Prosecutor's Office of Ingushetia, the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Ingushetia, as well as on the website of the main department of the Investigative Committee.

It is worth noting that Ibrahim Tochiev previously reported that the authorities demanded his family to transfer the plot and house to state ownership.

The Supreme Court of Ingushetia in December 2025 refused to transfer the plot and house to the ownership of the republic, but at the same time did not confirm Tochiev's ownership rights. According to him, the head of the village, without waiting for the court's decision, continued to come to the Tochievs with subordinates and threaten them with forceful eviction if they did not vacate the house and land themselves.

Tochiev also previously stated that over the years of litigation, various pressures were exerted on his family – searches were conducted, they were summoned to various agencies for questioning. Attempts were made to initiate a criminal case against his father for fraud, and an administrative case was opened against him.
