12 villages remain without transport communication in Dagestan after the bad weather.

In Dagestan, traffic has been restored on 19 sections of roads that were disrupted due to heavy rainfall. 12 settlements remain cut off from the outside world.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", as of July 11, traffic has been restored on 10 sections of roads damaged during the downpour in Dagestan, restoring communication with 46 settlements. Access to another 53 settlements is still limited.

As of the evening of July 12, transport communication has been restored on another 19 sections of highways in Dagestan that were washed away as a result of the rains, reports RIA "Dagestan".

According to the Ministry of Transport and Road Management of the Republic, 12 settlements in various districts remain cut off from the outside world. In the Agulsky district, transport communication with the village of Burshag has been interrupted due to partial collapse of a stone-arch bridge. In the Gunibsky district, the road from Gunib to Kumukh has been severely damaged, disrupting communication with six settlements in the area and four in the Laksky district. Part of the road has already been cleared, and temporary access has been provided to the villages of Sogratl, Shangoda, Bukhta, Shitli, and Megeb. Access to the village of Obok has also been closed.

In the Dakhadayevsky district, the village of Dibrakhmakhi has been left without transport communication due to a landslide. In the Rutulsky district, communication has been interrupted with the villages of Jinakh, Kalyal, and Mukakh, while in the Tlyaratinsky district, communication has been restored on a temporary basis with the villages of Choroda, Salda, Ulgheb, Kamilukh, Betelda, Gerel, and Genekolob.

In the Unzukhulsky district, traffic has been closed on the road "Arakanskaya platform - Unzukhul - Sagrinsky bridge", and vehicles are being redirected to alternative routes. Communication has been restored on a temporary basis with 18 settlements in the Charodinsky district, while access to the village of Tsemir remains closed due to damage to the bridge and road.

It is also worth noting that electricity supply to more than 60 settlements has been disrupted in Dagestan due to heavy rains that occurred on July 7-8. In the evening of July 12, energy workers reported the resumption of power supply in the Rutulsky and Akhtynsky districts.
