The investigation and the prosecutor's office in Dagestan are interested in the child's injuries in the kindergarten.

A minor child sustained bruises and bites in a private kindergarten in the village of Petrakovskoye in the Khasavyurt district, and a criminal case has been initiated.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot", two teachers and a nanny accused in the case of injuring a pupil in a kindergarten in Makhachkala have been dismissed, and the head of the institution was also dismissed. Inspections were organized in all kindergartens in Makhachkala after the incident.

The family of the injured boy discovered numerous bites and bruises on his body after the second day in the kindergarten. According to the child's aunt, the management of the kindergarten "Lya Lya" in the village of Petrakovskoye in the Khasavyurt district could not explain the injuries on the child's body. The boy's mother reported to the police, as reported today by the Telegram channel "112", which published a video of the child.

In the video, the child's back is covered with hematomas and abrasions resembling bites, and there are bruises on his arm. According to the child's relatives, the teacher they consider responsible for this incident has not been dismissed. "Moreover, today, when my sister came to the kindergarten, she was told that the teacher would come down to her. That is, this person is still working," the mother is quoted by "112".

The prosecutor's office of Dagestan has organized an inspection regarding the information about causing bodily harm to a child in a private kindergarten in the village of Petrakovskoye in the Khasavyurt district. As reported by the regional supervisory authority on its Telegram channel, the child sustained injuries on June 25.

"The child born in 2025 sustained bodily injuries in the form of bites in the area of the back and elbow joint. The prosecutor's office of the Khasavyurt district will assess compliance with the requirements of legislation in the activities of the organization, including ensuring safe conditions for minors in the kindergarten," the message states.

According to the investigation, on June 25, 2026, while the child was under the supervision of the preschool institution's staff, he sustained bodily injuries, the Investigative Committee of Dagestan reports.

The Khasavyurt investigative department has initiated a criminal case for providing services that do not meet the safety requirements for the life and health of consumers intended for children under six years old 1 .

"Investigators are conducting a set of necessary investigative and procedural actions, establishing all the circumstances of the incident, as well as the reasons and conditions that may have contributed to the commission of the crime," the message states.

"Caucasian Knot" also reported that the prosecutor's office of Dagestan filed a lawsuit for the demolition of the building of the children's center in the village of Paraul, where pupils were poisoned by carbon monoxide. The building was constructed with violations and without permission.
