Lukoil gas stations in the Volgograd region have reduced fuel supplies.

Starting today, Lukoil gas stations in the Volgograd region are selling no more than 20 liters of gasoline per customer.

As reported by the "Caucasian Knot", starting June 23, "Lukoil" in the Volgograd region introduced restrictions on the sale per transaction: gasoline - 30 liters, diesel fuel - 60 liters in the city, 200 liters - outside the city on highways.  At some gas stations of large companies, drivers encountered non-working pumps and a ban on dispensing fuel in canisters a week ago. . Fuel networks in the Volgograd Region are recording a 30-40% increase in average daily fuel sales compared to the same period last year, according to the regional Committee for Industrial Policy, Trade, and the Fuel and Energy Complex. "In order to stabilize significantly increased demand, which in some cases has been panic-like, LUKOIL has changed the limit on gasoline sales per transaction, which is 20 liters effective June 25. There have been no changes to diesel fuel sales: the limit remains 60 liters in the city and 200 liters at highway gas stations," Interfax quotes the committee as saying.

No information has been received about restrictions being introduced by other major networks.

"Replenishment of stocks and delivery of fuel to gas stations is ongoing. Stocks are sufficient to provide fuel for the region. The fuel supply limits imposed by network operators are not related to a fuel shortage in the region, but are the operators' response to increased demand," the committee added.

The authorities called for "an understanding approach to the measures being taken": "refuel your vehicle as needed, not 'for future use'; use only fuel directly into the vehicle's fuel tank."
