Officials have given permission to open 58 beaches in Anapa.

Fifty-eight beaches in Anapa have received permits to open. Volunteers report periodic palm oil spills on the beaches of the village of Volna, from the Central Descent to the port of Taman.

As reported by Kavkazsky Uzel, two beaches in the village of Veselovka received an expert opinion from Rospotrebnadzor – these are the village's Central Beach and the beach of the Veselovka Experience Hotel.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev chaired a meeting of the government commission for the liquidation of the consequences of the emergency caused by the tanker wreck in the Kerch Strait. During the meeting, it was announced that 58 beaches in Anapa have already received all permits, and another 10 are undergoing examination, the Krasnodar Krai Operational Headquarters reported today on its Telegram channel.
 
Efforts to eliminate the consequences of the oil spill continue. Specifically, an additional layer of clean sand is being added to the beaches of Anapa damaged by the fuel oil. No cases of oil spills have been recorded during coastal monitoring in the Krasnodar Krai in recent times. Satellite images in the area of ​​the tanker wreck did not reveal any confirmed oil spills.
 
Since the beginning of the work, more than 3,600 kilometers of coastline have been cleaned, including repeated cleanups. About 185,300 tons of contaminated sand and soil have been removed to specialized organizations. A government commission reported that 776 people and 188 pieces of equipment are involved in the emergency response.

Information about permits to open Anapa beaches was also published by environmentalist Zhora Kavanosyan on his Telegram channel.

"Not identified, but videos of fuel oil and palm oil are posted daily in volunteer chats. Another dead dolphin washed up today. And you children, go swim and get healthy," Yulia Tikhomirova wrote in a comment under the post.
