Two beaches in the Temryuk district have been given permission to open.

Two beaches in the village of Veselovka have received expert approval from Rospotrebnadzor – the village's Central Beach and the beach at the Veselovka Experience Hotel.

As reported by "Caucasian Knot," in February, fuel oil emissions were recorded at the beach in the village of Veselovka. However, the operational headquarters stated that this was old fuel oil that had been lying on the seabed. Volunteers noted the largest emissions on the Bugayskaya Spit.

Two beaches in the village of Veselovka have received expert approval from Rospotrebnadzor regarding the suitability of the water body. The village's central beach and the beach at the Veselovka Experience Hotel have been tested and are safe and approved for use, Fyodor Babenkov, head of the Temryuk District, announced on the MAX channel.

According to him, two more beaches on the Black Sea coast are in the process of obtaining permits.

The Veselovka Experience Hotel's Telegram channel also confirmed the opening of its beach. "After a long wait, we received official permission," the statement read.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, volunteers from the "Dolphins" headquarters reported back in late February that the shore in the village of Volna was polluted by palm oil spills. At the end of May, fresh fuel oil spills were also discovered on the beach in the village of Volna: in one day, volunteers cleaned the beach, collecting over 200 bags of fuel oil-sand mixture. Volunteers are quickly cleaning up localized fuel oil spills on the coast in the Temryuk district, but large volumes of palm oil and petroleum products spilled into the sea create a toxic mixture that poses a serious environmental threat. Authorities in the Temryuk district concealed the spill of 4,000 tons of palm oil into the Black Sea.

The resort season in Anapa opened amid a stark contrast in coastal conditions. Some beaches are open and deemed safe, while others are closed due to erosion, unstable soil, and environmental risks.
