Military counts 13 downed drones in Rostov region

The Defense Ministry reported 13 drones neutralized last night in the Rostov Region. Two more drones were shot down over the Azov and Black Seas.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night the military destroyed and intercepted drones in the Verkhnedonsky, Millerovsky, Bokovsky and Chertkovsky districts, said the acting governor of the Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar. According to him, no one was hurt.

Last night, 13 drones were shot down in the Rostov region, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, during the night, the military destroyed and intercepted 92 drones, including one over the waters of the Sea of Azov and one over the waters of the Black Sea.

The remaining drones were neutralized over the territories of the Bryansk, Tula, Kaluga, Ryazan, Voronezh, Kursk, Oryol, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Smolensk regions and in Crimea.

Recall that on September 2, during the UAV attack, the upper floors of two apartment buildings in Rostov-on-Don were damaged. An unexploded shell was found in one of the multi-story buildings, and 320 residents were evacuated to a temporary accommodation center. After sappers removed the unexploded shell from the building, the residents returned to their apartments.

On the night of July 4, in the village of Dolotinka in the Rostov Region, as a result of a drone attack, a floor slab collapsed in a two-story eight-apartment building, killing a pensioner. In Azov, a drone explosion damaged the windows in an apartment building where 120 people live. In total, that night in the Rostov Region, more than 20 residential buildings and three social facilities were damaged.
