12 drones shot down over southern Russia

11 UAVs were shot down over the Rostov region and one over Kalmykia, the authorities reported. The drone alert regime has been lifted in the North Caucasus regions. The ban on flights has been lifted at the Volgograd airport, 23 flights are delayed and four are cancelled.

As "Caucasian Knot" reported, on August 14, the Volgograd and Rostov regions were attacked by drones. In Rostov-on-Don, 20 buildings were damaged, 212 residents of damaged houses were evacuated. 13 Rostov residents were hospitalized, including two in serious condition, by the evening six victims remained in hospitals.

The authorities of the North Caucasus regions reported the lifting of the drone danger regime, in particular, the head of North Ossetia Sergei Menyailo, the head of Kabardino-Balkaria Kazbek Kokov, the head of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Dagestan reported this.
