Train schedule to cities in southern Russia has been changed

Due to the drone attack in the Rostov region and mass train delays, the schedule of 10 passenger trains has been changed, including to the Krasnodar region and Chechnya.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, on the night of July 19, the contact power grid of the railway was damaged on the Likhaya - Zamchalovo section in the Rostov region as a result of a drone attack. A number of commuter trains were cancelled, and long-distance train service was suspended. It was resumed on the same day, but the incident led to delays in train service. Today, 132 passenger trains were delayed for periods ranging from half an hour to 15 hours.

The Federal Passenger Company (FPC) reported today on its Telegram channel about changes to the schedule of 10 trains. "Due to the incident in the Rostov Region, the departure of a number of trains from the initial stations on July 20 will take place according to a changed schedule," the statement says.

According to the publication, the departure times of trains No. 460 Adler - Tambov, No. 100 Adler - St. Petersburg, No. 358 Imeretinsky Kurort - Ufa, No. 12 Moscow - Anapa, No. 304 Sukhum - Moscow, No. 233 Moscow - Novorossiysk, No. 277 St. Petersburg - Anapa, No. 382 Moscow - Grozny, No. 83 Moscow - Adler, No. 109 Moscow - Anapa have been changed.

We remind you that, according to the Ministry of Defense, on the night of July 19, the military shot down 24 drones in the Rostov Region. As a result of the attack, a railway employee on duty at the Likhaya station was injured. She was taken to the hospital, and then transported to the Russian Railways-Medicine clinic in Rostov-on-Don. Several private houses in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky also caught fire as a result of the attack; the fires were later extinguished.
