One person killed in shootout with law enforcers in Derbent

In Derbent, a car driver refused to stop at a police request, ran over one of the law enforcers, and opened fire. The law enforcers shot and killed the suspect.

In Derbent, a shootout occurred, during which one person was killed, the TASS reports today, April 23, with reference to its source in one of the city’s medical institutions.

The “Criminal Chronicle” Telegram channel reports that the police discovered a pistol in the suspect’s car. The wounded policeman was taken to the hospital with injuries, and there is no threat to his life.

The killed suspect was 21 years old, the “Atypical Makhachkala” Telegram channel reports. Witnesses claim that the car could be armoured.
