Richest woman in Russia Tatiana Bakalchuk denies Kadyrov’s words about raider takeover of her “Wildberries” Company

In her video message, Tatiana Bakalchuk, a founder of the “Wildberries” marketplace, refuted the words of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov about the raider takeover and obstacles in communicating with her husband and children. The businesswoman reported that the deal to merge the “Wildberries” marketplace with the “Russ” Company was approved a long time ago. Tatiana Bakalchuk also expressed her regret that her husband Vladislav made family difficulties public. Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has announced that the official Kremlin knows nothing concerning the statement voiced by Ramzan Kadyrov.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on July 23, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, promised Vladislav Bakalchuk, a husband of the richest woman in Russia, that he would not let the Bakalchuk family to be destroyed and would “go to the end” to stop the raider takeover of the “Wildberries” Company. Tatiana Bakalchuk has stated there is no raider takeover, but she wants a divorce from her husband.

On July 23, Tatiana Bakalchuk posted a video message on her Telegram channel in which she stated that everything was fine with her, she was not avoiding anyone, and she was not hiding anything.

The businesswoman said that her younger children were on vacation with their grandmother and that the older ones went by train to another city. Tatiana Bakalchuk herself is located in Moscow.

The entrepreneur confirmed that her husband “really possessed one percent of the company shares […] and he does not participate in the management of the company.” “Recently, my team and I decided that we need to transform in order to maintain the pace of growth, develop, and come up with new interesting stories for our partners and clients,” Tatiana Bakalchuk noted.

According to her version, the deal has been “fully approved.” Tatiana Bakalchuk admitted that she did not understand why her husband came up with a story “of an incomprehensible raider takeover.”
