Resident of Buynaksk fined under article about discrediting Russian Army

The Buynaksk City Court has imposed a fine on Magomed Saidbekov, a local resident, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that since March 2022, Russia has been using the liability for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces; since then, residents of Southern Russia and Northern Caucasus are brought to responsibility under this article, the maximum sanction for citizens under which is a fine of 50,000 roubles, but a repeated violation thereof within a year entails already criminal prosecution.

Magomed Saidbekov, a resident of the city of Buynaksk (Dagestan), has been fined by the court under the article on discrediting the Russian Army, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported.
