After being interrogated as a witness within the case of Nazism rehabilitation, law enforcers released Oleg Orlov, a co-chairman of the "Memorial" Centre for Human Rights Defence. Orlov refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement and was unable to obtain a copy of the search protocol.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that employees of the "Memorial" Centre for Human Rights Defence, as well as of the liquidated "International Memorial"* and the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial"* were detained after searches within the case of Nazism rehabilitation. Oleg Orlov, a co-chairman of the "Memorial" Centre for Human Rights Defence, has been prosecuted for repeated discrediting of the Russian Army.

Orlov has been released after interrogation within the case of Nazism rehabilitation. He figures as a witness in this case, the "Memorial" Centre for Human Rights has informed.

According to Mr Orlov, he refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement, the "Sota" Telegram channel has informed.

Alexander Guryanov, the head of the Polish programme of the liquidated International Society "Memorial"*, who is also a witness in the case of Nazism rehabilitation, also refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

He said that investigators asked about the sources that the "Memorial"* and Guryanov himself had used when compiling the Books of Memory. "The most tragic for me is that they took away my computer and made it impossible for me to continue my work," Mr Guryanov said in an interview with the "Sota".

During the searches, law enforcers looked for any objects and media that contained the word "Memorial". Information carriers were seized from Polivanova and her son, she said in an interview with the "Dozhd"** on the TV company's YouTube channel.
