Video posted of beating up restaurant visitor by Chechen law enforcers in Simferopol

Four men took part in beating up a restaurant visitor in Simferopol despite attempts to stop the brawl, says the video of the incident with Chechen law enforcers.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 26, Akhmed Dudaev, the Minister for National Policy of Chechnya, treated the conflict involving Khasan Ibragimov in Simferopol as a domestic one. The Minister has added that the information about the detention of Ibragimov and his companions is not true.

Earlier, media reported that Khasan Ibragimov and four law enforcers from Chechnya had been detained in Simferopol on suspicion of beating a young man who stood up for his girlfriend in a restaurant.

A video of the brawl was posted in the Telegram channel "Yaroslav's Letters". The footage shows three men in camouflage clothes running up to the restaurant door and dragging a man out into the street; then, they begin beating him up. The man falls down, but they continue kicking him, including on the head.

A group of people come out of the doors, including a girl and an elderly man. The girl rushes to the brawl venue trying to stop those who were beating the lying young man. In turn, an elderly man squeezes himself to the center of the fight to hit the lying man several times.

Then, the latter rises to his feet; and the indignant girl is strongly pushed by one of the attackers in camouflage clothes.

Let us remind you that Khasan Ibragimov is a deputy commander of the SOBR (Special Rapid Response Squad) "Akhmat" of the Chechen branch of the "Rosgvardiya" (Russian National Guard). He retained this post even after on December 8, Ramzan Kadyrov appointed him as his representative in the Kherson and Zaporozhye Regions.
