Prior to concert in Grozny, Chechen Ministry of Culture examined Jony's songs

All the songs of the singer Jony of Azerbaijani origin that he performed in Grozny had been censored, Elina Murtazova, assistant to the Minister of Culture of Chechnya, has stated. The concert, which was attended by Aishat Kadyrova, a daughter of the head of Chechnya, took place a week after the information about the deaths of 23 natives of the republic in Ukraine, the opposition Telegram channel "Niyso" has stressed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 30, Akhmed Dudaev, the Chechen Minister of Press and Information, treated those who oppose the concert of the singer Jony as provocateurs, and urged them to come to meet him. Ramzan Kadyrov said he would attend the concert with his family.

A meeting of Kadyrov and Dudaev with opponents of the Jony's concert in Chechnya is impossible, since it would undoubtedly be followed by pressure on the critics of the authorities, Ruslan Kutaev, the president of the "Assembly of Caucasian Nations", has pointed out.

On October 27, Kadyrov announced the deaths of 23 Chechen fighters in Ukraine.

The real name of the 26-year-old Jony is Jakhid Guseinli; he is from Azerbaijan, the "Media.Az" has reported. Most of his songs are on non-Islamic topics: relationships, love and leisure, he often talks about drinking alcohol.

At the same time, in the clip entitled "Boss" Jony claims that he remembers his roots.
