Krasnodar resident accused of discrediting the army

The case of Ivan Danilov, a Krasnodar resident, accused of discrediting the Russian Army, has arrived in the court.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 4, 2022, administrative responsibility was introduced for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces, after which residents of Russia, including the Krasnodar Territory, began to be prosecuted under this article. Thus, on September 15, it became known that the case of a blogger from Sochi, Anna Kolmagortseva, accused of discrediting Russian militaries by reposting a video on a Telegram channel, arrived in the court.

Danilov's case was brought to the court on September 12; the maximum penalty under this article is a fine of 50,000 roubles.
