Twenty-two cases opened against Volgograd resident for discrediting the army

On August 10, 22 administrative cases arrived in the Voroshilov District Court under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces in relation to Vitaly Gotra; in another case the article on which the protocol was drawn up was not indicated, as follows from the information on the court's website. The date of the session has not yet been set.

The press service of the court reported that 20 administrative cases against Gotra were considered under the article on the public display of Nazi symbols; and he was sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest. "The court found that Vitaly Gotra, 34, in the territory of the Voroshilov District of Volgograd, posted leaflets with a public demonstration of Nazi symbols, which is forbidden by the current legislation of the Russian Federation," says the statement posted on the court's website on August 11.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that a court in Volgograd fined the street painter named Philippenzo for the third time, finding him guilty of discrediting the Russian Army. The painter's guilt has not been proved, and the court's decision will be appealed against, the advocate has stated.
