Residents of Chechnya demand eliminating violations in kindergartens

During inspections, violations have been revealed in four kindergartens in Grozny, officials of the Mayoralty have reported. There are problems in other preschool institutions, including extortions, lack of places in groups and poor heating, residents of the republic pointed out to officials on the Instagram*.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Chechnya have repeatedly complained about the work of kindergartens.

Khadizhat Kadyrova, the head of the preschool department of the Grozny Mayoralty, has inspected four local kindergartens. Violations were found in all of them, Birlant Sadulaeva, Ms Kadyrova's deputy, has stated.

"The remarks were voiced out to the heads of the preschool institutions, and shortest deadlines were appointed to eliminate them," Ms Sadulaeva said in a video footage posted last night on the Instagram* page of the ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company) "Grozny".

In the comments to the post, social network users also complained about violations in kindergartens.

"Indeed, horror is taking place in kindergartens. There are 60 children in one room. They are not taken out for a walk; they sit there all the day and watch cartoons," the user kasatka007008 has written. "In winter, it's often cold in the playroom and in the bedroom. In kindergartens, the heating in winter is very weak; children are freezing," the user zalina_630 has complained.

"And I would pay attention to the payment process, so that parents do not pay into educators' hands; this will facilitate the work of both them and parents," the user makhmaevazukhra has written.

*On March 21, the Tverskoy Court of Moscow decided to ban the activities of the "Meta" Company (the owner of the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp) in Russia because of their alleged extremist activities.
