Norwegian protesters speak against violence on Chechen women

The participants of the rally held in front of the building of the Norwegian Parliament in Oslo spoke out against violence on Chechen women, condemned the detention of Zarema Musaeva and kidnappings of relatives of Ramzan Kadyrov's opponents.

On January 21, the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, confirmed that the woman had been taken to Grozny, and said that the Yangulbaevs should find their place "in prison or under the ground."

The rally against violence on Chechen women was held in Oslo in front of the building of the Norwegian Parliament by members of the Chechen Diaspora and Norwegian activists, the "Kavkaz.Realii"** reported on January 29.

About 50 people took part in the action. They discussed the recent abduction of Zarema Musaeva and kidnappings of relatives living in Chechnya of the bloggers and activists living in the European Union (EU) and Turkey who criticize Ramzan Kadyrov.
