Kadyrov gives Ingushes three days to put forward claims against him

After the threats to authors of statements that Chechen authorities had illegally taken away the Ingush territories, Ramzan Kadyrov demanded from Ingush people to voice all the claims against him within three days.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 11, Kadyrov threatened that if the statements that Chechen authorities had illegally taken the territories of Ingushetia did not stop, then the "remaining villages" would also pass over to Chechnya.

In November 2021, unrests broke out because of the earthworks in the bed of the Fortanga River, along which the border separating the two republics is running.

Kadyrov has stressed that should the Ingushes fail to bring charges against him, he will take action against those who are trying to denigrate his honour, according to the website of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company). According to the head of Chechnya, he is ready to answer all the claims, but for this they must be presented by the Ingush people or individual teips (family clans) from there.

At the same time, Kadyrov believes that Ingushes treat him very well. "I know that you love me, but there are people who are envious and jealous," he has stated.
