Incident in Grozny kindergarten sparks resonance in Chechnya

After a complaint by the mother of one of the children, the Prosecutor's Office (PO) of Chechnya and the Chechen branch of the "Rospotrebnadzor" (the Russian Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) have begun checking the information about violations in a private kindergarten.

The information about violations in the kindergarten have received resonance after the woman's publication, who reported that violations were possible in the kindergarten, but she was not allowed to check the conditions of keeping her child, the "Grozny-Inform" News Agency reported on August 14.

The video clip, which has caused the checks, was posted on August 14 in the Instagram public eldit_net. The video presents a woman's dialogue with a kindergarten employee, who would not let the mother into the kindergarten.

The Chechen PO has initiated a check of the messages posted in social networks about "inadequate provision of services for small children care and supervision in the private kindergarten," the PO's press service reported in the evening on August 14.

"The check will be made of the compliance of the preschool institution's activities with the education legislation, including the compliance with the licensing requirements. The measures of prosecutor's reaction will be taken on all the revealed violations," says the message posted on the PO's Instagram page.
