Activists find Navalny's office employees who disappeared in Makhachkala

Eduard Ataev, the head of Navalny's office in Makhachkala, who disappeared on April 12, is serving 10 days of his administrative arrest in Khasavyurt. Murad Manapov, his assistant, was arrested for three days and is in a special detention centre, Ruslan Ablyakimov, an activist, has informed. A policeman came to Manapov's home and took away his passport, but said nothing about his whereabouts, his wife said.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Alexei Navalny's office was opened in Makhachkala on April 11; Eduard Ataev, a local activist, became its coordinator. On April 12, Ataev's associates reported that they could not contact him and his assistant Murad Manapov.

For more than 24 hours, the associates could not find the whereabouts of Ataev and Manapov and contact them. Today in the afternoon, a policeman came to Manapov's apartment to pick up his passport, but he did not inform the activist's wife about her husband's whereabouts, Ruslan Ablyakimov, an employee of Navalny's federal office, told the "Caucasian Knot".

Later, Ablyakimov managed to find out the alleged whereabouts of Ataev and Manapov. "Eduard Ataev is presumably at the Khasavyurt city police division, and Murad Manapov is in a special detention centre in Makhachkala.
