The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on November 10, the agreement signed by Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia on the end of hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh came into force; and local residents began returning to the unrecognized republic.

The "Caucasian Knot" has drafted a map to show the territories that will pass over to Azerbaijan after the autumn war. Also, the "Caucasian Knot" has published a deployment map of the Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Over 24 hours from November 23 to 24, more than 2000 refugees returned to Nagorno-Karabakh, the Russian MoD reported on November 24. The Russian peacekeepers and the military police escorted a convoy of 30 buses from Yerevan to Stepanakert, and thus 1250 people returned home. The rest of the refugees went to other regions of Karabakh, the Russian MoD reports on its official website.

Starting from November 14, more than 11,000 residents have returned to Nagorno-Karabakh with the support of the Russian peacekeepers, the Russian MoD reports today.

By the late 2020, most of the residents, including from the regions that have come under the control of Azerbaijan, are expected to return to Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan states.

According to him, the Armenian authorities have developed state programmes to support refugees. "Two programmes have already been adopted, and five more social programmes will be adopted in the next few days," Nikol Pashinyan has added.
