Tumso identifies his attacker

The Swedish Prosecutor's Office (PO) suspects Ruslan Mamaev, a Russian citizen, of attempting to kill the Chechen blogger, Tumso Abdurakhmanov, the "Vayfond" Association reported on March 3. The attacker's photos have been posted on the Facebook in Ruslan Mamaev's page, the blogger has confirmed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the above attack on Tumso Abdurakhmanov was committed on February 26, when the attacker penetrated his apartment with a hammer. Abdurakhmanov managed to disarm him and called the police. Both were hospitalized:

Tumso Abdurakhmanov has recognized the man who attacked him on February 26 in the Swedish city of Gävle, the BBC Russian Service reported on March 3.

The photos, allegedly depicting the attacker on Tumso, were posted on the website of the "Vayfond" Association. The attacker and the man, whose photos were posted by the "Vayfond", is one and the same person, the Chechen blogger has confirmed.

According to Tumso, the attacker's photos are also posted on the Facebook in the page of the user named Ruslan Mamaev. At the same time, a motion demanding to arrest a person of the same name was issued by the local PO. The motion filed by the City PO of Gävle demands to arrest a Russian citizen, Ruslan Mamaev, born in 1990, a local newspaper informs.

The PO's request for the arrest of the attacker indicates that he is a Russian citizen Ruslan Mamaev, his date of birth is August 24, 1990.

According to Tumso Abdurakhmanov, the Chechen authorities and Russian special services could have been involved in the attack.
